Life Detours

John 14:6 (ESV) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.

I’ve found in life that things rarely go the way we want them to according to our plans…  It’s often that we forget to seek God first for the real plans he has for our lives.    A lot of times we tend to put the cart before the horse and jump the gun and find ourselves feeling run over, run down and and for some of us just beat down and used.

Nevertheless, I’ve come to let you know that as long as you continue to seek God and keep him first in your life, no matter what life in general throws at you, you will be able to stand, stay with God and know the “PURPOSE” for your life.

See,  I found out just the other day that life will hand you some things so bitter and so hard to swallow that some circumstances of life can make you become bitter if you let them.   Ahhhhh… I said, “If you let them.”    Now, what do you mean by that?  Well, I’m certain that we do have a right to get angry when men and women trespass against us..  Naturally, the human mind  is designed to do one or two things or more when under pressure…  Number one….  Most of us instantaneously become angry…  Number two… Some of us just shut down, and number three… Some of us become combative  and want to fight…   I heard Donnie McClurkin say, “The last thing you want to do is get a Christian mad, because they will come out fighting…”Wow.. I’ve been in a number of fights myself….     Nevertheless, when we seek God first, he detours us from certain situations that most of us find ourselves in because we tried to do things on our own…

In all things seek God first… Simply said:   “Put God First….”    Know the purpose for your life… What I’m really trying to say is,  when you know your purpose in life, life can hand you whatever it will or may, and you can still stand and weather the storm. and you can live and stand your ground according the scriptures and the script and plan that God  has for your life…..

See, it’s the devil’s / advisory’s  job to throw us off track… Yes, I said the adversary’s  job to get you off track, and off focus  so he can come in for the kill and try to steal, kill and destroy your joy….  See, even the enemy knows that if  they can steal your joy, they can try and steal your testimony…. .  But I come to tell you today that  Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world…   Serving bold notice that  the Devil does not have the victory over any of our lives….   Only if you give it to him…. “Stay with God!!”

I decree and declare on today that the Joy of  the Lord is my strength, and I shall have the victory and walk in the purpose driven life that God said I shall have….  Just stop and reach up and take what’s yours….   We have power, we just have to stop and call on the name of “JESUS” when we feel like all hope is gone, and we feel like  life detours are too much for us….   Just remember that we have a God that standing by with his arms opened wide waiting on us to come his way and  ask him for guidance, and help…. I tell you, if you seek God in everything you do, you can’t go wrong….

Now, the trials of life will come without notice, but stand strong, and know that the glory of the Lord will reveal itself to you by leading and guiding your footsteps in the right directions…  Please know that God has your back in all situations….

Glory… I feel your anointing and power of God on today as I was detoured on last night..  Taken way out of my way as I drove home, delaying me about 1-2 hours…  Oh, but somebody say I began to plead the blood of Jesus, and say God as long as you guide me home safely, I know everything is going to be alright…   See, I had on my traveling shoes!!!   We have to learn to put our trust in him!!!!      Trust God, he will always steer you in the right direction….

Just tell the Lord:  “When the storms of life are raging… Stand by me Dear Jesus!!!”   Don’t you dare give up, hold on and be strong, because God will step in and it won’t be long…. Just don’t give in… Hold on!!!!

And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. …

Love is….

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (ESV ) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Greetings to my wonderful WIFI ministry subscribers, family and friends all around the world….  I awake

today with “LOVE” on my mind… When I think about how Jesus gave his only begotten son that we may have

life…. That’s enough right there to let me know that Jesus loves me, oh yes he does…

Well, I’ve come to the conclusion that “I’m in Love with Jesus and he’s  in Love with  me….”  This is the only long term relationship

I’ve  ever kept in these  46 years outside of my family… I’m so happy to report that there has never been a

break up between us, and our love just keeps on getting  stronger and stronger..  Even the times when I did

not do right, he just kept right on being God throwing his loving arms around me, and for that I say “Thank

you”   When we come to realization and realize that ‘Love” is really all we need… Everything else falls in

place… I love some of the finest of things, but I’m convinced that only what you do for Christ will last…

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)  17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed

away; behold, all things are become new.

Everyday as I  walk around I see all of his great creations and how he made everything so beautiful and so

unique…  I amazed everyday that the sun comes up, when the stars and  moon comes out at night…  I’m

amazed with  man in general how we are all different, but yet all the same…  Our animals are some unique

and beautiful creations also..   I’m fascinated with all the beautiful flowers, plants and trees… When I look all

around I see nothing but Love letting me know that there is a God that sits high and looks low.   Everyday, I

take the time out to just say Thank You Lord for showing me what Love really is…

New Direction– I’m in Love with Jesus

Sermon Title: “Act like a Lady and Think like a man” Dr. Jamal Bryant..

Sunday, April 29, 2012 – 9:30 a.m. Service
Uncut/ Unedited Verbatim Sermon Notes: Minister Evelyn Diane Thomas

Empowerment Temple Church, Baltimore, Maryland ~ Dr. Jamal H. Bryant

Scripture reading:  Matthew 17:20 (NIV)  20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Sermon Title:  “Act like a Lady and Think like a man”  Dr. Jamal Bryant..

Verbatim Notes:  It’s being taken very serious and taken serious by the Hollywood industry… Steve Harvey  just released a movie ‘Think like a man”  Sister are to operate in integrity and not operate in desperation… You will not be able to go to far without a discussion of your long term and short term goals..

There are some questions asked:  Are the standards too high, or is compromise too low?  The Law of gravity is a paralleled truth….  If you throw and object in the air it will hit the ground…

If this book is a truth, it should not be regulated to just a woman.. .The same things should be transferrable on how I relate to God… When God deals with us, he is asking us, what are short term goals.. Your praise should be a praise of expectation.. It should not be a dance of how you feel about him in public, but how you feel about him in general..

A lot of us have a casual relationship with God and he will hear from us when we are in a crisis.  The question has  been raised… How much do you compromise… How much do you give up on a one night stand…  Why is your standard not high?  Your expectation should be of such… if you step to me you better bring your best game… When you step to me, you better have your game together..

The book was so succesful and unremarkable and was not expected to be a movie

Matthew 17:20 – It you have the faith the size of a mustard seed, you can tell the mountains to get out of your way..

Mark  11:22 – Have faith in god..

I pray that your faith don’t fail because the devil desire to sift you as wheat…

Now he needed a book about to see if the concept work… I’m here to tell you that you can be a demonstration… In the next 30 days, you are gettting ready to be a star in your own movie… Everything that happened up until this moment was just a speak preview….  After today, it’s gone be a full lenghth movie…  People that did stuff to you don’t even know that they are going to be a part of script on the floor…. You have gone through enough heart breaks… Next time, they are going down and you are going up…

You don’t have to have my same influence but you do have to love God like I love God.. .If you have an attitude because I’m lifitng up the name of Jesus… If you have a problem with that, you better go some where else with that…

God is getting ready to show you a demonstration… When you are desperate for God, you will never be desperate to have a man or woman in your life….  The most desperate women are church women…  You are giving a bad name to the Kingdom…  You can try that with them other chicken heads…..  You aint blowing no man phones up or checking no man’s phone… If God has him on my call, you know he is on your agenda..

When a Christian woman knows her value, and know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made… A Christian woman should have value for herself..

On problem I have with the book is the amiguity of a WOman… He is not clear on what man I ought to think like.. When I read to the book do you want me to think like a man that thinks like a momma’s boy, or a man who’s healing from a divorce..   What is the kind of man that a lady is suppose to think like.?  I found him Matthew Chapter 8…. If you gone act like a lady, this is the man you should be thinking about..

In Matthew Chapetr 8:23 – Jesus is on the boat and a strorm breaks out…. Lord do you care if we perish?  If you are in a storm, is the test is if you are in a relationship you are comfortable with sharing with you your problems…

When the storm looks like it was taking them down, they cried out Lord Save me!!  Look at you neighbor and say:  That’s my booo (JESUS)…. When I get in his presence I have to lift up my voice because he means that much to me… Jesus is on the boat with him… He aint in heaven in this story….    I’m shouting because I need him to know that this is an emergency…. I’m boogie all week long, but when I get in my Daddy’s house…. .This is the day that the Lord has made, I shall rejoice and be glad in it…

As soon as they stood up he said “God save them”   “Peace be still”  When he said Peace be still he was not talking to the people… He was talking to the wind… When you have a real man in your life, he is not worried about the issues you went through… When you have a man that say I take with all your hang up’s, dieseases, etc….   Whatever you went through in your past is OK, but I speak peace in 2012~~~

I’m coming around the mountain… Be seated where you are… Today two things are getting ready to be healed.. The cause of your storm and the effect of your storm… I just heard my grandmother say;  ‘The storm is passing over”   Tell somebody that the storm is passing over… Don’t wait until the battle is over, shout right now!!!

Tap two people and say ‘It’s almost over’  I don’t care how hard it’s been, and how trying it’s been.. Tell two people you got here because it’s almost over!!!!

I’m hearing that ringing in my spirit… Help me preach it… “IT’S ALMOST OVER!!!!”

This has been an hell of a year for you , but please know that it’s almost over…

A mistake the enemy made is before the enemy sent the storm he should have found out who my man was first…

If I had some push over chump, he should have sent a bigger storm, because my man I serve can handle the storm….

I have to tell you something……   Please be seated…   “In the next verse he releases something in the 21 century church have taken for granted… In the middle of the storm, I was not just talking, but I was talking directly to you…

If you want to act like a lady… Sit your fast behind down and act like you have some dignity….  Be still…. I’m gone give you a season that God is going to send you a man… Just BE STILL!!!

Every person in this room, every 18 persons came through a bad relationship that knocked the wind out of you… Wave your hands… that’s the waves… After the relationship there were nights you could not sleep… There were days you did not eat or you over ate… There were nights you had to talk yourself through…   I’m releasing a spirit of peace because the joy of the Lord is your strength…

The last verse of this text is the verse Steve should have started the book with:   The wind and the waves stopped and everybody on the boat asked the question… ‘What matter of man is this that the wind and waves obey his will?”  When you lift up your voice, everything around you has got’s to obey your will and your way..

If I’m gone think like a man, you gone have to know what type of man I think like.. It’s not arrogance, but it’s confidence.. Let me tell you about my man;  Speak those things as though they were…

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

.. I am the head and not the tail… . I am above and not beneath.. He may not come when you want him to come, but he is an on time God… Neighbor, you don’t know what I’ve been through… I’ve had some people to break my heart and take me for granted… I know a man that will pick you up and turn you around and place my feet on higher ground…  I’ve been preaching for 28 minutes and I need to tell you my man name.. His name is Jesus… Every knee shall bow and every tongue must confess…. If I call his name, demons will tremble… If I call his name my savings is coming back.. If I call his name I will be married by next year… If I call his name haters will move out of my way… If I call his name doors will open… Jesus… He is my will in the middle of a will… .He is a friend that has never let me down… When I call his name, heaven is about to open up…. When I scream his name things are going to happen… Let the redeem of the Lord say so…’JESUS”‘ Jesus… in the morning… Jesus in the midnight hour….

Shout;  “I love him” “I love him”

If you don’t love him, don’t say nothing… . “I said I was not going to tell nobody but I just can’t keep it to myself!!!!!”

I want to pray for your heart… Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus…. You are transformed ladies and gentleman… I pray right now that God will guide you in all wisdom…. My second fallacy… Not only should I think like a man, I should act like a lady… A real lady is not acting… Not act like a Christian, be a Christian… He is calling us to become…. No where in scripture does God tells us about acting….

Give us a dismemberment that God will give us someone that has integrity and is pure and only want to see you happy….  I’m praying that God send someone in your life that your pleasure is your benefit…. I pray that God heals you from your past 3 relationships… Theses relationships have been the winds that have caused your waves..

I pray that God starts the movie on tomorrow and start showing you off on tomorrow and let people know that your faith has set you free… Your next relationship is gone work out!!!!     I speak it over your life and it is so!!!

In one minute people are getting ready to come to this alter and accept God as their personal savior… Church is a place where you can change your thinking and change your behaviour..  .You have to live through some stuff before you alter something in your mate… When you were coming up you needed a man that had a fancy car…. You just want a man that can drive….

You want a  mate that critically think and move forward…  Jesus wants to be your man…Jesus wants to be your highest priority!!!

If  he can change the way you act…..   You keep picking and choosing the wrong mate… But when you choose Jesus… Middle Eastern proverb: – Human thinking….         Let this mind be in you…

Some of you guys are saved and stuck up…  Just because someone is nice to you in church does not mean they want you… .I’m just being nice to you , I don’t want your number, I just want to make sure you know Jesus!!!  (Jamal Bryant)   Wow!!!

In the month of May, God is going to do something strange and something odd…  You are going to get stuff you never prayed for.. God is going to drop an opportunity that you did not even see coming….   I need every person to do something,… IF you were going to give $50.00 dollars, give $53.00 – If you are watching on line give $53.00 – $73.00 – $93.00 – Give some young person $3.00 to give… The spirit of rebellion will be broken off of them….  If you don’t have an offering, look at you neighbor and say”Can you give me some money   please”   Notice:  I did not say borrow… I said give!!!!

Lord, in the next 31 days… Do the unexpected in Jesus Name!!!!

Scripture reading:  Genesis 18:10-12 –

10 Then the LORD said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. 11 Abraham and Sarah were already old and well advanced in years, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. 12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my master is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Sermon Title:  “It’s not too late…. It’s not too late for you….”

Verbatim Notes:

Susanne Boyle felt the lime light in 2009 on Britain’s Got Talent…. She had an acute disability… She was teased at school… At age 12 she joined the church choir and began singing and doing karaoke performances at pubs in and around her village… She cashed in her savings and made a demo tape and sent it in to several people which told her that she was not photogenic or marketable…   Her mother kept encouraging her…  She always lived at home beause of her disability….   Her father then died 19 months later..

She ran into an old friend that asked her is she still singing?  She sang a song called “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables..  She is the oldest person to debue an album at 48.. She was viewed as the most influential person in 2012…    She ranked 2nd highest to the beattles… She discovered her talents after she was discovered..

Your are on a different time schedule….  I’ve been usheered in the spirit realm to tell you that “It’s not too late!”  God is going to make sure you do it!

Declare:  ‘It’s not too late”   There was a delay getting off the ground because there was low visability….  The pilot made an announement that the people who are on the ground are worried about something that I’m not worried about.. We will make up for lost time in the air… You are going to get there on time….   The things that have been slowing you down are the people with pre-occupation have been slowing you down… The enemy knows if I ever take off , you are going to make up for lost times…  Whatever you thought you were going to achieve these past 3 months are going to come to pass… Your storms are going to help you go pass people that’s been trying to hold you…. God recorded before the foundation of the world that you are going to get it yours..

J.K. Rowland’s did not find her sucess until she was 64-years-old … Mozart had his worked publised at 46-years-old..    God is getting us ready to receive success….  I’m now delivered from other people experiences… I know exactly what I want for my life….

Genesis, chapter 18 – He is sitting at the door of a tent…. He wanted us to be aware of where he was sitting…. They wanted us to be aware that he was at the edge… The door of the tent… Everything you have been through in 2012, God is gettting you ready… It’s when you don’t even realize where you at is when God steps in and starts to prophesy…  I will return in a year and you and your wife will have a child… Sarah is 89 and Abram is 99…. She asked the question… Can I still have pleasure?   Can I enjoy myself in this season in my life?     I know some of you are praying for money, etc…  But I’m gone let you sit back and enjoy your life in this season… I’m giving you permission to be pleasurable in your own self…..

Here is the question most of us are to proud to ask…  Will you give me my years back where I can be happy….

This is going to be a season to enjoy yourself again….   Sarah is not worried about how it’s gone come out of her… She is worried about how it’s gone get to her…  There is no anesthesia for her to take… She is not thinkng about the pain of the process… She is thinking about the pleasurable experience….  If I’m gone go through pain, don’t let me go through for nothing….    The enemy meant it for bad, but God meant it for good… It takes a lot to make me cry….  I just want to know can I be happy again and can I smile again…

She is past her child bearing age… She is on a different time and a different schedule…   She is a late bloomer..   Her probability to produce is not based off of what other people think… When I get ready, nobody will be able to stop me…  It’s almost time…  I know it looks off but I’m going back to school… I know you guys looking at me strange but my book will be published…

What I want  does not line up with the time table but I do believe that it’s my time…  You have been seeing doors open for other people.. You have been faithful over a few things but God is getting ready to give you much….

You don’t even understand….  Weeds are frustrated flowers…  Austrailian flowers… I’m pulling weeds out of your garden… I’m getting ready to move People that have been trying your cut off your dreams… They have been jelous because they cannot duplicate your anointing…

Sarah laughed… This is not a laugh aimed at the enemy… .It’s not a laugh directed toward haters… What God is going to do or me by now and memorial day… He is getting ready to give me the last laugh… How could I doubt my God?   Is there anything to hard for my God?    I”m getting ready to laugh between now and May 31… I under esimated my ability mixed with God’s Prophesy.

If God ever promised my anything I know that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me… Everything God told me in my dreams is gettign ready to c ome to pass… God never spoke to Sarah… He spoke to somebody that was seated next to her… He told him to tell her that everyting that is in side of you is getting ready to come to past… You have one year for you gifts to take off and your imagination to take off… He had me sitting next to you to tell you that the race is not giving to the swift or the strong but unto those that endure to the end… You can laugh if you want but I’m about to be debt free… Every place that my feet shall tread shall be blessed…  As many sands that is on the sea shore, you name shall be great!  You shall be above and not beneath…

When the doctor gives you bad news Laugh… When the bill collector give you bad news  laugh… When the teacher gives you bad news about your child  laugh because the world did not give me this joy and the world cannot take it away..

Six months ago, I had to cry my self to sleep… But when I rose this morning, I had not doubt…..   Your next blessing is going to make you laugh…  When you go to the ATM and see more money… You bettter sing… I sing because I’m happy and his eye is on the sparrow and I know he watches over me!!

Hallelujah!!!   Be seated sir, mam… Verse number 14 in Genesis 18  asks a critical question…. Is there anything too hard for my God?   I believe I’ll say that again:  “Is there anything too hard for my God?”   Clause B says:  There is a  set appointment, and specific time that God has written down when your blessing is getting ready to come…  He said to Sarah, not only are you going to give birth, but you are going to see that boy grow… I want you be be strong enough to see him get married, graduate… I’m adding strength to your life..

This is for about 9 of you….   God has entrusted me to tell you that he is not going to let the liberation’s of your child kill you… You went through to much just to let them see you go crazy…I’m going to give you health so you can see them turn their lives around.. I’m going to let you live long enough… There is an appointed place… I’m getting ready to bless  you even when the person with don’t believe it!    I’m getting ready to bless you Abram because you have the faith… but Sarah is a doubter… but I’m not gone let her lack of faith stop you from getting your blessing….  Because of your faith…. I”m not going to allow you to miss another miracle because of a miserable mate… Just because they are unhappy, I”m not going to let you be unhappy… I”m getting ready to bless you because I saw you when you were in your agony… Even when you are with the person that don’t believe with you what you are trusting God for… I’m still gone bless you… It’s not too late…  Don’t look at your biological clock…. It’s not too late…   I know you are gauging where you are off of other people’s success… I’m here to tell you that it’s not too late…

Jesus shows up, and he is met by Mary and Martha… Had you been here the one you love would not have died… It’s too late, by now his body stinketh… Jesus said show me where you laid him?  It may be too late for you, but when I call your name, you are getting ready to go forth… Even when your own family give up on you… .You better not let Jesus show up… All he has to do is call your name… He said “Lazereht come forth”   When he calls me, I have to move to a new place…..   The bible says when they called his name somebody had to move the stone for Lazereth to come forth… He came out jumping even  though his body was wrapped in death clothes.. I have death on me, but God has me covered… In the time of trouble, he shall hide me… I know I don’t look my best, and I’ve been through some trial and some stroms.. But for God I live and for God I die… The bible says when Lazereth begans to praise him.. Death Clothes began to fall off… IF you praise him stress, worrry anxiety and worry is comeing….  Say neighbor it’s not too late…

I know you’ve been waiting, and I know it’s been a trial , but I want to tell you that it’s too… Whateever you prayed for and asked him for is getting ready to happen… Whatever you wrote down is coming to past… It’s not too late… If you see the devil before I do.. Tell the devil it’s too late… You should have killed me while you had the chance… Now, it’s too late for  me to be a drug addict… It’s too late for me to be stressed over a relationship…. It’s toooooo late!!!!!   Oh my….  Hey!!!  Hey…. I can’t get no real praisers in here..

It’s not too late!!!!     I feel something electric in the room! I need you to just cry out from your belly… “It’s not too late!!!”

It’s not to late for you to fall in love and find the person of your dreams… It’s not to late to step out on God and follow your dreams… I”m praying to God adjust your time table… I pray whatever it is God gave you the gumption for, that you will go after it….

The birth of Lord and savior Jesus Christ… That is not the case for Abram and Sarah.. He gave the prophesy… It did not negate the fact that they had to do the work… If they would have just heard to prophesy and not put in the work their prophecy would not have come to past… If you work you gift, and your fruits, you gift will make room for you… Celebrate a gift you have that you have not been using… Believe that something is going to happen so you can use your gift.. God is going to use your gift to convert a non beliver… I’ am going to use your anointing so somebody can see that the gift of God is still at work….  When the unsaved say they want to go to work with you… Just laugh… When the supervisor that is usually not nice to you , then they start to be nice to you, just laugh…

God help us work on undeveloped gifts…. Intercessors, healers, preachers prophets have a gift that is resting upon them.. God please develp their gifts, and please don’t let another year go by without them working in their gift… Left their fruit pay off the them… I’m praying that there will be a battery of testimonies that God has been good to me….  Give God praise!!!

It’s not too late to get right with God… While you were in worship, God adjusted your time… He is not just going to give you a long life… He is going to give you long healthy life… God if you gone let me stay, let me stay with life more abundantly… I don’t want to have to take an abundance of pills andwaith for a physical therapist to come to my house… I want you to live that you have life and have life more abundantly… .I want you to see your grand children and great grandchildren give their testimony…  It’s not too late…

Here’s what you have to give….  Sarah laughed and said, can I still find pleasure?  They stopped trying because they stopped believeing that it was possible… Stop beleiving what other people say… You waisted enough faith on other folks diagnosis…  Do you know how many nights and opportunities God had the chance to snatch you?   Can you recall and count how many people gave up on you?

Stop waisting God’s time!!!!  When he keeps giving you more time to get yourself together.. Without any theatrics or drama connected to it….. I want to open up the doors of the church and let you know that you have to get saved… The sand has come down in the bottle… You have seen so many people go before you, and you know you have waisted enough of your time, and God time… You know you need to step on on faith and beleive God… I know if he can give Sarah and Abram another chance at 90, he can give you another chance too… I know you done waisted time in the streeets and in the clubs, but it’s not too late to give your life over to Christ…

Move and talk to 3 people and ask them do they have a church home and are they saved?  This is not the time to be reserved…

You are in the right place at the right time, serving the right God… I know that right… If you know that’s right , come on and give God some praise…

Can a man or a woman rob God?   I now you probably robbed God the first months of this season, but it’s not to late to give your tithes and offering.. In the month of May, God is going to do something unusual and bizarre in the month of May…. I’m going to do something miraculous… When this good thing happens, it’s going to leave them shaken-ed, rattled and unnerved… May is going to be a month of odd occurrences…   How many of us trust God to do something strange.. .Buckle up for un-candid opportunities… God is getting ready to give you great favor with somebody that is going to seek you out…    Get an odd offering… I need your offering to end in an odd number as a testament of your faith… I want something odd to happen… Those that are watching on line, I want you to give an odd offering… $53, $73.00, $103…  Lord in the month of May do something strange, unusual and unscripted… I trust you to even me out with an odd blessing…

Thank you Lord for all you’ve done for me….

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV) Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Today I stop  to show my gratitude to God and take the time to say:

“Thank you Lord for all you’ve done for me!”

“If I had ten thousand tongues, I could not thank you  enough for all you are doing in my life”…

Everyday is not Sunday, but life still just keeps on getting better and better as I yield my life to you dear Jesus and begin to focus on God all by himself and pray for other’s rather than focusing on my problems and what I don’t I have…  I realized a few months back when I really sick and in tremendous chest pain that it’s not about me, but it’s about “Jesus!”

God has always been my all and all, and that right there makes is to easy to pause and say

“Thank you”

on this Saturday in the month of April 28, 2012….

Psalm 91:1-16 ESV / 8 helpful votesHe who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, …

1 John 2:27 ESV / 7 helpful votesBut the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.

1 Peter 3:21 ESV / 7 helpful votesBaptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Ephesians 1:11 ESV / 7 helpful votesIn him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

Romans 7:1-25 ESV / 7 helpful votesOr do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress. Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. …

I will bless the Lord at all times….

God has been so good to us and he has done great thing for us all..  We should always stop and take the time to  bless the Lord at all times….No matter what it looks like.. Whether I’m up or down, I’m still going to bless the Lord because he keeps right on blessing me in spite of my pain, my shame, my difficulties, through the storm and the rain through my heart aches and my pain.. . I don’t know about you, but God has done great things for me so  I will bless the Lord because he has done great and mighty things for me!!!(Minister Evelyn Diane Thomas 4/27/2012)

I’m just gone let Psalms 34 speak for me on today and the bible says:

Psalm 34 King James Version (KJV)

Psalm 34

“I Will Bless the Lord At All Times”- He’s good! Joe Pace

1I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Byron Cage – I Will Bless The Lord

4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Grace and Forgiveness

Psalm 19:12 King James Version (KJV)- 12 “Who can understand his errors?
cleanse thou me from secret faults.”

The late Bishop G.E. Patterson
“Yes Lord/Invitation to Christ”

Greeting to all of my wonderful subscribers, family and friend’s of World In Focus International Ministries (WIFI)…  Thank you so much for your continued love and support, I can’t say thank you enough…

Today I want to touch on grace and forgiveness which is a big issue in our world today and tends to be a very touchy subject when it comes to us truly and really forgiving each other like Christ has forgiven us and showed us time and time again his precious love, grace, compassion, forgiveness and mercy.  Often times we become angry at the thought of forgiveness because it just seems so hard to let go of the things that hurt us so bad. It’s not that we don’t want to let it go, it’s just the thought of never wanting it to ever happen again in our lives.  I had to come to grips on yesterday and realize that the battle really is not mines  but it’s the Lord.

So after a long day of thinking, I had to come to terms that Grace and Forgiveness are vital for  Christian growth if we desire to move forward and go higher in him.  The scripture says in Luke 18:13  (KJV) 13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

I asked God to please ease my pain and take all these bad memories away from me and be merciful and replace them with things of  Love, Peace, Joy and  Happiness..  When we develop  a positive  attitude,  God takes care of us – forgives us, cleanses us through the blood of Jesus which  covers our transgressions and keep us under the shadow of  his wings .  God’s grace is sufficient!

1 John 1:7  (NIV) 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Romans 4:7 – “Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Psalms 17:8-9 (ESV) Keep me as the apple of your eye;  hide me in  the shadow of your wings, from the wicked who do me violence,  my deadly enemies who surround me.

I seek for those things which are good and pleasing to God.  I never want to find myself bitter, because I feel no better than the person that has trespassed against me.   As Christians, we have to learn how to be the bigger person.   The word of God  teaches us how to be good disciples and  gives us instructions on how to come to him and draw others to him by taking them down the Romans road which is full of Grace and Forgiveness.  It really simple too!

He said all we need to do is confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and thou shalt be saved.

So you have to stop and ask the question:  Do you believe that Jesus Christ Died for your sins?   If the answer is yes, you are headed on the right road!  Then the next step is letting you know that God is faithful and just to forgive us from ALL unrighteousness.

He gave his only begotten son who was wounded for our transgressions, beat and bruised for our iniquities.  He then locked his head in the arms of his shoulders and God died, BUT he did not stay there very long!

He stayed there all day Friday,  and Saturday, but early Sunday Morning our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ got up with all power in hands to show the world the kind of love he has for you and I.    That’s what I call real love that a man would lay his life down for friend!

It’s not happening much these days, but we do have some people that love each other so hard  that they would give their all for them…    I say just love unconditional like Christ loved us.

The Cost of Being a Disciple
Luke 14:25-34
New Living Translation (NLT)
25 A large crowd was following Jesus. He turned around and said to them, 26 “If you want to be my disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. 27 And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple.

28 “But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?  29 Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. 30 They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’

31 “Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him? 32 And if he can’t, he will send a delegation to discuss terms of peace while the enemy is still far away. 33 So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.

34 “Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? 35 Flavorless salt is good neither for the soil nor for the manure pile. It is thrown away. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!”

Remember what you’re made of.  Remember what’s flowing in your veins.  Remember what you were given, and remember what you went out and created on your own.  Like any great masterpiece, you’re not done yet.

Inside of you is the best of everyone who has come before you – and the best of everyone yet to be.  You can forget some of what life hands you, but never forget who you are…  A true child of God… A child of the King!!!!
