Luke 14:28 (NIV) 28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
Well, we have made it to day number five, and we are feeling where we are going… I am counting up the cost and I can see the plan plain and clearly… Lord, if you lead me, I will follow…

BEFORE you take any great step, or make ANY decision, your focus must not be on just your immediate plans to build or establish. Take time to focus on the far more difficult processes that will follow and the long-term consequences of your decision. In Luke 14:28, Jesus says no man builds a tower without, first, counting up the costs! God wants you to have KNOWLEDGE! Following this wisdom ensures you are not one of the people who learn this lesson by experiencing pain and regret that could have easily been avoided by simply having the information.
