1 Peter 2:24 ( NIV) “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
No matter what we go through or what we’ve been through, you can rest assure that you always have to keep your hands in the Master’s hands! I have NEVER, nor will I EVER turn my back on God! If anything, I’ll draw nearer to thee! It’s a must, because there will be a blessing waiting for you at the end of the storm! God will also provide you with the proper peace and joy you need for the journey and a way of escape.
In this Lenten season, as we lead up to Good Friday, where our Jesus endured way more than you and I, and he uttered: Forgive them! For they know not what they do! I’m so glad that he did! Jesus bore that old rugged cross so that we could be free and a sinner like me could be saved, set free and made whole! Thank You Jesus!
Through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God! THROUGH IT ALL! #keepgoing #JESUSCHRISTISLORD #Jesusdiedforme #YESLORD
Luke 23:34 (KJV) – “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
It seems in this day and age we live in, we find people everywhere seeking for unconditional, genuine love. People want love, but most are unwilling or may I say incapable of really loving another human being the way they really want to be love. So, I pose the question on this 4th day of January, 2018: WHERE IS THE LOVE?
I’m glad you asked… Well, in the book of John, the 3rd chapter and the 16th verse describes the greatest love of God when he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus that you and I may have the right to the tree of life. If that’s not love, then I don’t know what love is! In today’s world, that would be asking way to much according to the standards that most of us live by. That would be considered ultra crazy love! You can barely ask someone for a piece a bread, let alone give their life for you. Aren’t you glad that we serve an exceptional God!
We all know that there are so many different types of love, but the love I want to focus on is God’s love. God’s love is patient, and God’s love is kind. God’s love is forgiving. God’s love is everlasting. God’s love is free. God’s love reciprocal. God’s love is ever-present. God’s love is contagious. God’s love is everlasting! God’s love everything you and I need. I could go on forever about God’s love because I’m so grateful that he would think enough of you and I to die for us. We serve a loving and kind God!
When I think of all the love God pours into us, all I can do is tell God THANK YOU! Thank you God for loving me! Thank you God for not giving up on me! Thank you God for saving me! Thank you God for looking after me when I couldn’t look after myself. Thank you God for being there for me when I felt all alone. Thank you God for providing for me and making a way out no way. Thank you God for taking care of my family and friends. Thank you God for healing and keeping me. Thank you God for listening to me! Thank you God for loving us unconditionally. I see the love. I feel the love. I hear the love. I want God’s love. We have to get to a point in life where we desire real love. Most of us have a tendency to push real love away.
I am here to serve notice today and let you know that God is love! Everywhere you look you see the love! Let’s learn to love one another and stop beating each other down with our mean and nasty words and our intimidating ways. It’s better when we learn to kill each other with our kindness and love. Yes, I couldn’t agree more that it’s hard to love people who you know do not love or care about you, but we must love them anyways because God has commanded us to! He didn’t command us to like their ways, but he did command us to love them because one of God’s greatest commandments is LOVE!
As I write on this morning, I’m reminded of this old secular song : “ Where Is The Love?” song by the group, “The Black Eyed Peas” This song really hits home in 2018: Where is the love? Listen to the words and you can agree and ask yourself today, where is the love?
Cited: We do not own any right to the song: "Where is the Love?" This song is being used for inspirational and truth purposes only.
“Behold, my eye has seen all this, my ear has heard and understood it. What you know, I also know; I am not inferior to you. But I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to argue my case with God. As for you, you whitewash with lies; worthless physicians are you all.
Oh that you would keep silent, and it would be your wisdom! Hear now my argument and listen to the pleadings of my lips. Will you speak falsely for God and speak deceitfully for him? Will you show partiality toward him? Will you plead the case for God? Will it be well with you when he searches you out? Or can you deceive him, as one deceives a man? He will surely rebuke you if in secret you show partiality.
Will not his majesty terrify you, and the dread of him fall upon you? Your maxims are proverbs of ashes; your defenses are defenses of clay.
“Let me have silence, and I will speak, and let come on me what may. Why should I take my flesh in my teeth and put my life in my hand?
Though he slay me, I will hope in him; yet I will argue my ways to his face. This will be my salvation, that the godless shall not come before him. Keep listening to my words, and let my declaration be in your ears.
Behold, I have prepared my case; I know that I shall be in the right. who is there who will contend with me? For then I would be silent and die. Only grant me two things, then I will not hide myself from your face:
This will be my salvation, that the godless shall not come before him. Keep listening to my words, and let my declaration be in your ears.
Withdraw your hand far from me, and let not dread of you terrify me. Then call, and I will answer; or let me speak, and you reply to me. How many are my iniquities and my sins? Make me know my transgression and my sin. Why do you hide your face and count me as your enemy? Will you frighten a driven leaf and pursue dry chaff? For you write bitter things against me and make me inherit the iniquities of my youth. You put my feet in the stocks and watch all my paths; you set a limit for the soles of my feet. Man wastes away like a rotten thing, like a garment that is moth-eaten.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
◄ 2 Corinthians 5:8 ► (KJV) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
Pastor Thomas H. and the Beautiful First Lady, Missionary Bobbie Lambert! This was the first Power Couple I ever met!! When it came to the Word of the Lord, his Family and the people of God, they took their job serious!! I LOVE them with all my heart! May God continue to bless his wife who is still on the battlefield for the Lord! May God rest Pastor Lambert’s soul!
Heaven gained a preaching machine up there, and left us all who knew him with the hope of doing good, so on that great day in Christ when that trumpet sounds, and the dead in Christ will rise, we will meet up with Pastor Lambert again and we shall embrace heaven and be reunited with all the people we miss and Love!
Remember though, we have to continue to live right if we want to see JESUS!
Pastor Thomas Henry Lambert: Sunrise: April 17, 1944 – Sunset: April 30, 2004.
Rest in heaven Pastor Deddy! We love you!!🌹
This is the ORIGINAL: Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Long Beach, California that Pastor Thomas Lambert had built back in the 80’s after tearing down the little Morning Star B. C. where the Late Rev. Thomas who was the Pastor before Pastor Thomas H. Lambert would revolutionize that entire block and make room for an experience of a lifetime that none of us who attended or were members would EVER forget!
“If I perish, let me perish… I’m going to see the King!”
Esther 4:13-17 (NIV)
13 he sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”
17 So Mordecai went away and carried out all of Esther’s instructions.
This is instructive for us for we too have been placed in God given situations for a purpose.
We all get a choice to rise up to the situation in faith or sit back in fear and remain silent. Will we obey the voice of God and speak and act for His glory or remain mute and motionless hoping that no one will notice? If God is calling you to something and you remain silent, God will find another way, but you will miss out on how God wanted to use you for His purpose and lose the reward that would have been yours. Who knows, that could have been your time? You could have been positioned by God for that very purpose for such a time as this! “Stay in position!”
What is required? – “If I perish, I perish”
Esther 4:15-17 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish. So Mordecai went away and carried out all of Esther’s instructions.
Finally Esther begins to see the depth of the problem and the need to follow Mordecai’s instructions no matter what the cost, and it could potentially cost her. We shouldn’t underestimate the step that Esther took here, and so it isn’t surprising that all the Jews in Susa are asked to fast for three days concerning Esther’s next move. At the end of that time, Esther will do something that was not lawful to do (even for the Queen!) – She will go before the King unannounced. If all goes well, he will extend the golden sceptre to her and she will find favour in his sight. If it did not turn out the way she expected, she will die. It is a huge step of faith on her part! “If I perish, I perish” are the words on her lips as she takes each step of the journey.
What does all this mean for us? Well, Jesus said that “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.” Your ‘cross’, that Jesus asked you to take up, is the place in your life where the will of God and your will, shall cross. That is, where the two wills are in opposition to each other! This was how it was for Esther as her will initially was opposed to the instruction of Mordecai. That is how it is often for us. So what is required? As shown by Esther, we too must deny our will and obey God’s call. Has God been asking something of you lately? Have you obeyed? Can you learn from Esther in this regard who initially dug her feet in but died to her own will so that the plans and purpose of God could be activated through her? I think we all can.
Blessing to each of you on this wonderful and sensational Sunday.. We hope you have a fabulously wonderful week and we pray you had an ultimate worship experience on today!!!! Day number 49 of pecking orders are enclosed from Bishop T.D. Jakes ~
God wants to update your files with new KNOWLEDGE and information! Being equipped with old information prevents you from accurately distinguishing friend from foe, causing you to fight off the very people to whom God has EXPOSED you in order for them to help you! God often sends help in unlikely places from unexpected sources. As God directs you, learn to put away your sword and open up your heart!
This is a must read book that I recommend highly in this day and time we live in…
T.D. Jakes uses inspiration from the Lord’s Prayer to reveal how the act of forgiving—and learning to be forgiven—can lead you to a more joyful, peaceful, and purposeful life. As unconditionally loved children of God, we are all forgiven. Through His grace, we can forgive ourselves and the people around us. In this way, we can live the fulfilled and happy lives God has for us.
Before you break through to the next level of success, understand that you will nearly fail. But, don’t stop PECKING! Allow me to explain. People who’ve achieved great things are no more talented than you. They’ve simply learned to lean into their mistakes and persevere through them to the next level of challenge and expectation. Don’t quit! I’ve never seen a quitter win, but I see winners because they didn’t quit! God has you right where He wants you. Keep PECKING!
Happy Sunday to each of you… We pray that everyone has a blessed and wonderful day of praise. I have enclosed day number 35 of Pecking orders directly from Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Much Love to each of you, and please keep pecking.. (P.E.C.K..)
When God POSITIONS you, He has a way of putting you in a place where you have no choice but to move from the safe center to the uncertain edge of a new experience! Admittedly, you would avoid making the necessary changes or facing the edge if you could. It’s here that you learn the value of faith and fuel of prayer. Activate both as God POSITIONS you to face uncertainty.
Happy Saturday to each of you… We pray that everyone has a blessed and wonderful weekend. I have enclosed day number 34 of Pecking orders directly from Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Much Love to each of you, and please keep pecking.. (P.E.C.K..)
If you haven’t discovered it by now, PECKING will quickly introduce you to new things and people. But, as you risk doing or experiencing something new, you must accept that fear is normal! Nervousness and anxiety is a part of the nature of crossing a fresh threshold into the exhilaration of a new experience. You will always face new experiences with a degree of angst. But, take COURAGE. Feel the fear…but do the new thing anyway!
