WTAL – 52 Days of Pecking Orders – Day 12

Anger is rarely the first emotion. Fear usually strikes first, preying on what we don’t know. Therefore, the solution requires KNOWLEDGE! As you continue forward, decide to work for a solution instead of being angry. You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control how you respond to situations and issues. “Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires” (James 1:20 NIV). You have a choice to make. You can stand with angry fists raised, or you can assume responsibility for your response and refuse to be a victim of your own anger.

The Impatient Turtle (Janette Oke's Animal Friends)

“In this book:  “Pogo wants to live life to the fullest, however, he thinks that being a turtle holds him back from enjoying all the fun and exciting things that others are able to do. His anger is turned to joy when he finds out being a turtle has its advantages, and it’s pretty special, too!”  A must read if you struggle with anger..  This book comes on all levels….
