March 22, 2012 is 29th day of  Lent.   Today we will be praying about our Churches  and discussing All houses of Worship that lift up Name of God!    Let me know where some of  you worship our Lord and Savior at?  All comments are welcomed…

Many people feel apprehensive about attending a new church for the first time. Most of us know what it felt like to go to a new church wondering am I going to have to stand up and have words, etc.  It does not matter what church you came from because there is only one God for all houses of worship that lift up the name of  God/ Jesus!  I think when the Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Free Holiness, Roman Catholic, and other church backgrounds all get together, what a time, what a time what a time we will have worshiping him in spirit and in truth.  Every church has their own way of worshiping, I say, “just get in where you fit in…”

Being in the right church is vital… When you are rooted and grounded in the place of God,  your life is constantly changing for the better… Good sound leadership, teaching  good sound doctrine that come from no other than the Holy Bile – I say, if they are preaching and teaching the unadulterated Gospel, then you are in the right place…

You should know what your church covenant says, and know your order of worship, unless you go to one of them Holy Ghost knock out churches like I  use too, then the schedule, and all the programmed stuff goes out the window when the Holy Ghost takes over, yet and still there is order.. Be sure you choose a church to your liking.. If you like that structured ordered church, they do have those in every denomination….  As for me and my house, give me that church where I can be free to exercise every gift and believe in the 5 folds of ministry… Even being a cyber-member, I feel important knowing that I have the same access and information as the local members….  To me, it’s very important to know what goes on in my house of worship as I lift up the Name of the Lord…

Matthew 18:20 (NIV)20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

At Empowerment Temple, Pastor Jamal Bryant has a very user friendly church for his people… He has a magazine in PDF form that has an introduction of who he is and what his church is all about… There is the Litany and several other vital documents that can help you to feel more comfortable in your church when you know on a first hand basis what you assembly offers and what they believe as far as doctrine goes… The Litany at his church, which I love and made it my business to learn because in writing and out of my mouth I love professing exactly what thus says the Lord…. Right above this paragraph, I have enclose a copy of his Echoes Empowerment Magazine which is a great ideal for any church to use to supply the members with the necessary information to become an active successful member..

Jesus House

The Covenant Agreement At Empowerment Temple:

UNDERSTANDING COVENANT
In the Bible, a covenant is a relationship based upon mutual commitments. It typically involves promises, obligations, and rituals. Covenant is how God has chosen to communicate to us, to redeem us, and to guarantee us eternal life in Jesus. These truths, revealed in the Bible, are the basis of Christianity. The Bible is a covenant document. The Old and New Testaments are really Old and New Covenants.
Covenants are seen in the Scripture between individuals (Genesis 21:32; 1 Samuel 18:3), between one person and a group of people (Genesis 26:28; 1 Samuel 11:1-2), between nations (Exodus 23:32; 34:12; Hosea 12:1) and between God and man. Blessings accrue to those who are faithful, curses to those who aren’t.
SCRIPTURES FOR COVENANT
To understand the Word of God accurately one must become familiar with the eight biblical covenants. They fall into two classes:
Conditional (guarantees that God will do His part when the human meets his/her requirements stipulated); and Unconditional (its fulfillment is promised by God and depends upon God’s power and sovereignty for its fulfillment).
The EDENIC covenant (conditional), Gen. 1:26-31; 2:16-17; Gen. 3:15.
The ADAMIC covenant (unconditional), Gen. 3:14-19
The NOAHIC covenant (unconditional), Gen 6:8, Gen 9:1-18,
The ABRAHAMIC covenant (unconditional), Gen. 12:1-4; 13:14-17; 15:1-7, 18 17:1-14, Gal 3:15-17,
The MOSAIC covenant (conditional), Ex. 20:1 – 31:18, Ex. 24:4-8, Deut 6:25, Levi 18:, Rm10:1-5, Gal 3:8-26,
The LAND covenant (unconditional), Deut. 30:1-10
The DAVIDIC covenant (unconditional), 2Sam. 7:4-16; 1Chron. 17:3-15, Ps 89:3-4;19-20;25;27;29;33-34
The NEW COVENANT (unconditional), Jer. 31:31-40, Galatians 4:24, Hebrews 7:22 8:6-13 9:15-23 12:24, Heb. 5:9, Eph. 2:20-22, Col. 1:18,

JOIN A HOME CELL GROUP
www.empowermenttribes.org

What is a Cell Group?
A Cell Group (or Home Cell) is a small group of people who are committed to first of all building up one another, and secondly to fulfill the great commission in reaching out to the lost. They meet together weekly, as well as having contact with other people throughout the week. The Cell is like a larger family than just your own. It is comparable to the cells in a human body that provide protection, communication, life, sustenance etc.  Likewise the Cell Group is there for protection, edification, acceptance, support and communication.  Your Commitment to the Cell Group. The Cell will challenge and encourage your level of growth and commitment. In the Cell you will discover your ministry and gifting and you will find the joy of receiving a blessing but more important, of being a blessing. Your participation will help build up the rest of the group. Make a decision not to allow anyone or anything to hinder you from attending your Home Cell. Your Contribution to the Group
You are a valuable member of your group. God expects you to be actively involved in the growth of other Cell Members. The Holy Spirit will give you spiritual gifts to help you minister to the rest of the group (1 Corinthians 12:7-12). You can also help your Cell Group by doing practical things for them and using your talents or abilities to help them. Commit to your Cell and allow the Lord to use you and work through you to edify His body.
