Where O Death is Your Victory? (Isaiah 57:1-2)

Where O Death is Your Victory?

(Isaiah 57:1-2)

*** This part: O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Please keep me in your prayers. My heart is very heavy. Today marks 3-years that my Father went home to be with the Lord, and today I find out another one of my friends went home to be with Lord. A special shout out to my Dad: Reverend J.E. Thomas, the Founder of 2nd Corinthian Missionary, and employee of the City of Long Beach for over 40 years of service. I love and I miss you Daddy!

Pastor J.E. Thomas
affectionately known as Daddy to me <3

Special tribute to my Friend, Elder James Ray Tibbits you will truly be missed in the Kingdom of God and in the world of Fitness. You exhibited faithfulness to your call, and for that I commend you dearly.
This breaks my heart. He truly was a Man-of-God full of FAITH, and LIFE.He left a great legacy behind of FAITH and FITNESS. I will always remember him and cherish our friendship. I met him and his family while having dinner several years ago at the old Denny’s on Culver in Irvine. We exchanged ministry cards and we’ve been friends down to the end. This hurts really bad because today was the same exact date, three years ago my Father passed away with bladder cancer. My heart aches and is very heavy for you and your family. I’m so sorry for your loss, but heaven’s gain of a beautiful soldier in the army of the Lord! Please accept my prayers, condolences and deepest sympathy. This truly comes as a shock! It’s really hard to understand why our loved ones are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing that he is with our Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ. He will be missed.  Covered Wagon Motel  Ministry and Body Balance Fitness was his passion. He loved God’s people! #rip  Elder James Ray Tibbits
