God’s Plan of Salvation

1 John 5:11-12 And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

This passage tells us that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son, Jesus Christ. In other words, the way to possess eternal life is to possess God’s Son. The question is, how can a person have the Son of God?

Man’s Problem

Separation From God

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

According to Romans 5:8, God demonstrated His love for us through the death of His Son. Why did Christ have to die for us? Because Scripture declares all men to be sinful. To “sin” means to miss the mark. The Bible declares “all have sinned and fall short of the glory (the perfect holiness) of God” (Rom. 3:23). In other words, our sin separates us from God who is perfect holiness (righteousness and justice) and God must therefore judge sinful man.

Habakkuk 1:13a Thine eyes are too pure to approve evil, And Thou canst not look on wickedness with favor.

 

The Futility of Our Works

Scripture also teaches that no amount of human goodness, human works, human morality, or religious activity can gain acceptance with God or get anyone into heaven. The moral man, the religious man, and the immoral and non-religious are all in the same boat. They all fall short of God’s perfect righteousness. After discussing the immoral man, the moral man, and the religious man in Romans 1:18-3:8, the Apostle Paul declares that both Jews and Greeks are under sin, that “there is none righteous, not even one” (Rom. 3:9-10). Added to this are the declarations of the following verses of Scripture:

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

Titus 3:5-7 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that being justified by His grace we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Romans 4:1-5 What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? 2  For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about; but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.” 4 Now to the one who works, his wage is not reckoned as a favor, but as what is due. 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness,

 

No amount of human goodness is as good as God. God is perfect righteousness. Because of this, Habakkuk 1:13 tells us God cannot have fellowship with anyone who does not have perfect righteousness. In order to be accepted by God, we must be as good as God is. Before God, we all stand naked, helpless, and hopeless in ourselves. No amount of good living will get us to heaven or give us eternal life. What then is the solution?

God’s Solution

God is not only perfect holiness (whose holy character we can never attain to on our own or by our works of righteousness) but He is also perfect love and full of grace and mercy. Because of His love and grace, He has not left us without hope and a solution.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

This is the good news of the Bible, the message of the gospel. It’s the message of the gift of God’s own Son who became man (the God-man), lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sin, and was raised from the grave proving both the fact He is God’s Son and the value of His death for us as our substitute.

Romans 1:4 who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord,

Romans 4:25 He who was delivered up because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.

2 Corinthians 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

 

How Do We Receive God’s Son?

Because of what Jesus Christ accomplished for us on the cross, the Bible states “He that has the Son has life.” We can receive the Son, Jesus Christ, as our Savior by personal faith, by trusting in the person of Christ and His death for our sins.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, {even} to those who believe in His name.

John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

This means we must each come to God the same way: (1) as a sinner who recognizes his sinfulness, (2) realizes no human works can result in salvation, and (3) relies totally on Christ alone by faith alone for our salvation.

If you would like to receive and trust Christ as your personal Savior, you may want to express your faith in Christ by a simple prayer acknowledging your sinfulness, accepting His forgiveness and putting your faith in Christ for your salvation.

If you have just trusted in Christ, you need to learn about your new life and how to walk with the Lord. May we suggest you start by studying through the ABCs for Christian Growth. This series will take you step-by-step through some basic truths of God’s Word and will help you build a solid foundation for your faith in Christ.

Today, we will focus on the family… I truly believe that a family that prays together stays together…

Take the time with your family to talk about the

goodness of Jesus and the expectations for each of your lives…

It’s nothing like having someone in the home to lead these types of discussions

and then get everyone involved.. You will be amazed of the thoughts around you…

Nevertheless, I truly believe that family is everything and will be there when

everyone else has walked out… Learn to pray one-for-another and watch things

fall in place just by your faith alone…I pray each of you take the time to

Love is….

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (ESV ) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Greetings to my wonderful WIFI ministry subscribers, family and friends all around the world….  I awake

today with “LOVE” on my mind… When I think about how Jesus gave his only begotten son that we may have

life…. That’s enough right there to let me know that Jesus loves me, oh yes he does…

Well, I’ve come to the conclusion that “I’m in Love with Jesus and he’s  in Love with  me….”  This is the only long term relationship

I’ve  ever kept in these  46 years outside of my family… I’m so happy to report that there has never been a

break up between us, and our love just keeps on getting  stronger and stronger..  Even the times when I did

not do right, he just kept right on being God throwing his loving arms around me, and for that I say “Thank

you”   When we come to realization and realize that ‘Love” is really all we need… Everything else falls in

place… I love some of the finest of things, but I’m convinced that only what you do for Christ will last…

Everyday as I  walk around I see all of his great creations and how he made everything so beautiful and so

unique…  I amazed everyday that the sun comes up, when the stars and  moon comes out at night…  I’m

amazed with  man in general how we are all different, but yet all the same…  Our animals are some unique

and beautiful creations also..   I’m fascinated with all the beautiful flowers, plants and trees… When I look all

around I see nothing but Love letting me know that there is a God that sits high and looks low.   Everyday, I

take the time out to just say Thank You Lord for showing me what Love really is…

Greeting to all of my wonderful subscribers, family and friend’s of World In Focus International Ministries (WIFI)…  Thank you so much for your continued love and support, I can’t say thank you enough…

Today I want to touch on grace and forgiveness which is a big issue in our world today and tends to be a very touchy subject when it comes to us truly and really forgiving each other like Christ has forgiven us and showed us time and time again his precious love, grace, compassion, forgiveness and mercy.  Often times we become angry at the thought of forgiveness because it just seems so hard to let go of the things that hurt us so bad. It’s not that we don’t want to let it go, it’s just the thought of never wanting it to ever happen again in our lives.  I had to come to grips on yesterday and realize that the battle really is not mines  but it’s the Lord.

So after a long day of thinking, I had to come to terms that Grace and Forgiveness are vital for  Christian growth if we desire to move forward and go higher in him.  The scripture says in Luke 18:13  (KJV) 13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

I asked God to please ease my pain and take all these bad memories away from me and be merciful and replace them with things of  Love, Peace, Joy and  Happiness..  When we develop  a positive  attitude,  God takes care of us – forgives us, cleanses us through the blood of Jesus which  covers our transgressions and keep us under the shadow of  his wings .  God’s grace is sufficient!                                                                               

1 John 1:7  (NIV) 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 

Romans 4:7 – “Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Psalms 17:8-9 (ESV) Keep me as the apple of your eye;  hide me in  the shadow of your wings, from the wicked who do me violence,  my deadly enemies who surround me.

 I seek for those things which are good and pleasing to God.  I never want to find myself bitter, because I feel no better than the person that has trespassed against me.   As Christians, we have to learn how to be the bigger person.   The word of God  teaches us how to be good disciples and  gives us instructions on how to come to him and draw others to him by taking them down the Romans road which is full of Grace and Forgiveness.  It really simple too!

He said all we need to do is confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and thou shalt be saved.

So you have to stop and ask the question:  Do you believe that Jesus Christ Died for your sins?   If the answer is yes, you are headed on the right road!  Then the next step is letting you know that God is faithful and just to forgive us from ALL unrighteousness.

He gave his only begotten son who was wounded for our transgressions, beat and bruised for our iniquities.  He then locked his head in the arms of his shoulders and God died, BUT he did not stay there very long!

He stayed there all day Friday,  and Saturday, but early Sunday Morning our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ got up with all power in hands to show the world the kind of love he has for you and I.    That’s what I call real love that a man would lay his life down for friend!

It’s not happening much these days, but we do have some people that love each other so hard  that they would give their all for them…    I say just love unconditional like Christ loved us.

I’m gone serve him, because he is worthy to be served…

I can truly say to that “God is my roof top”… No matter where I am I know from the bottom of my heart that he is worthy to be served.. This song that we use to sing back the day ‘He’s my Rooftop says it all”  Just listen up the lyrics and I’ve enclosed them for you to read as read.. God is so good..  Nothing deep on today,  just thankful for all God is doing in all of our lives as a corporate body…  In the book of Deuteronomy 32:30 it says: How could one man chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the LORD had given them up?  – Leviticus 26:8  says: Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. My last scripture that I read in Isaiah 30:17 says – A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill.”  – Let pull together and help one another…  One man’s ideal can spark a nation!!  Le’s get busy and allow God to be our rooftop!

Incarcerated


Isaiah 61:1 (ESV) The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

As we embark on this journey of our 40 days of Lenten season, today we will be praying and discussing Incarceration.  When I hear the word incarceration I immediately began to think of a person that is not free.

Many of us have loved one’s that are behind prison walls… It tend to be a pretty common place for most of our black and brown men of today and yesterday… I encouraged each of you to begin to pray for someone you may or may not know that is incarcerated.   Also, pray those loved one’s that are free but has imprisoned their minds to the mental capacity that they have given up on life.. I believe, if we began to intercede on their behalf, lives will be change right where they are and the captives mind will be set free, which gives them another chance at life.   No matter what a person has done, Jesus still loves them in spite of their mistakes or intentions.   If a person is honestly sorry, repent and or ask the Lord for forgiveness, he  is a faithful and just God and will forgive you of all your sins.

 

Please, if  you will… Take time out of your busy schedule and go pay a surprise visit to a love one or friend that  is incarcerated.. .You never know, you might be that face that will change their mindset forever… Most of all, it’s a matter of them feeling free withing themselves… Locked away, yet free… The bible says: whom the son set free, is free indeed…

 

The Disciples Cross: The Message Behind the IHVS Christian

The first discipline is Obedience and faith, it is the central focus of book one, What Does the Bible Say? Obedience and faith is what binds all the other spiritual disciplines together. Without them the cross can not support itself. In the pages of the Bible, Jesus instructed: “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you” (John 13:15). Obeying God’s Word is not easy. History has shown that our human nature is prone to resist authority. We see that in Genesis chapter 3 when man disobeyed the Heavenly Father and the result was devastating. Man was separated from God. Disobedience has a similar affect upon our relationship with the Lord today. But God is faithful. He will forgive us our sins and restore our relationship if we will confess our sins and return follow His instructions (1 John 1:9).

Witnessing is another Christian discipline and will be the central focus of book two,Fishers of Men. Witnessing is not an option for a Christian. Jesus commanded the preaching of the gospel to all nations (c.f., Matthew 28:19-20), and it is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by verbal witness under girded by a Christian lifestyle in harmony with the gospel of Christ. Jesus also reminded us that God is pleased when we witness. “This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples” (John 15:8).

Prayer will be the central focus of book three, Move Mountain. Is has been said that prayer is to the Christian what breathing is to the body. More specifically, prayer is both talking and listening to God. At the same time, prayer is recognizing the presence of God (Psalm 118:18) as we claim promises of God (2 Peter 1:4). Equally important, prayer is the Christian’s source of strength and power, a means of discovering the will of God, and biblically mandated means of having our needs met (Philippians 4:19). Jesus promises, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (John 15:7).

Fellowship will be emphasized in Love One Another. Based on what I like to call The Eleventh Commandment, Jesus’ instructions in John 13:34-35 is clear, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” We are to love others because Jesus loved us first. His model is our inspiration and his legacy is the defining quality of our new life as disciples.

Service will be the focus of IHVS book five, You Are My Friend. A New Testament church is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers that can affect lasting, positive change in the lives of others. Both men and women are gifted to serve and be friends to others. One of my favorite passages in all of scripture is John 15:13. There we read, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.” It is fascinating to me to realize that Jesus considers me to be his friend. Being a friend to others has a similar impact on people.

Finally, the focus of the last book in the IHVS series, Show Thyself Approved, will bediscipleship. This is the all-encompasses discipline that expands the entire cross. Christianity is the faith of enlightenment and knowledge and in Jesus Christ rests all wisdom. Thus, all sound learning is a part of our Christian faith, and Christian education is a necessary component to a complete spiritual program for Christ’s people. Once again, Jesus teaches, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock (Matthew 7:24).

Incarceration is the detention of a person in prison, typically as punishment for a crime (custodial sentence).

People are most commonly incarcerated upon suspicion or conviction of committing a crime, and different jurisdictionshave differing laws governing the function of incarceration within a larger system of justice. Incarceration serves four essential purposes with regard to criminals:

  • to isolate criminals to prevent them from committing more crimes
  • to punish criminals for committing crimes
  • to deter others from committing crimes
  • to rehabilitate criminals

Incarceration rates, when measured by the United Nations, are considered distinct and separate from the imprisonment of political prisoners and others not charged with a specific crime. Historically, the frequency of imprisonment, its duration, and severity have varied considerably. There has also been much debate about the motives for incarceration, its effectiveness and fairness, as well as debate regarding the related questions about the nature and etiology ofcriminal behavior.

Pastor Fraizer – Praise the Lord everybody… He honors Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant – He was a little disappointed that Dr. Bryant was out of town, but his wife told him that it was an honor that Dr. Bryant left him to speak to the congregation on today…

He celebrates his wife for over 30 years of marriage and they will celebrate their 37th anniversary…   She thank God for letting him lay his hands on her and take care of her.. They are just a dynamic married couple that give me hope.. His wife said God is restorer, he is a deliver..”  Speak life… God says it’s not over until God says its over… ”  We have Faith and Praise!!!”  Believe God by Faith.. Take everything back what the devil has tried to steal from you…  Praise him in advance…

There can be hell in the world, but if there is peace at home, you can make it!!! – He confessed there were some struggles – but they made it… So mushy – (lol) – Pastor Fraizier said:  He loves Technology –   He is giving props to his kids and grandchildren.. He speaks about David:  David reassures him in his frail humanity… You recall he is wrestling with some issues… We all have sinned and come short of his glory…

“What is man, that though are mindful of him, and the son of that though visits him”

“God is a holy God” He is pure and righteous in all of his ways…  But David, has been included in the sacred texts… David gives him hope, because David messed up…  But God redeemed him… Most of us are intimately aware of makes us jacked up..

We all have sinned and fallen short of his glory… With your mouth you worship him, but with your deeds it tells a different story…Some of us don’t deserve to be sitting in a sanctuary of righteousness,  but thank God for his forgiveness.

God is a God of mercy that will give you another chance…  David said “Create in me a clean heart!”
