Though you may slay me, I still trust him…

World In Focus International Ministries LOGO official

As I press my way through this horrific pain  I am enduring ,  I am reminded about the crucifixion of Jesus and how much pain and suffering he had to endure that we might be free and yet live. They nailed him to that old rugged cross, and proceeded to beat him up a hill up on calvary,  and they made him carry his own cross,. They spit on him, called him everything but a child of God, etc.. You all know the story; but,  what I like the most about this story is that it is not how the story began, but the joy of the story is how it ended.

After all, Jesus knew if he made the ultimate sacrifice to be hung between those two thieves on that cross , and  he stayed in the grave from the sixth to the ninth hour getting up with all power in his hands.  See Jesus he knew if he bore the pain and suffered for this entire world that we may have life and life more abundantly his pain would not be in vain.  The whole world needed to see this with their own eyes that we all might believe that he is God all by himself..   What Jesus knew was that all power was in his hands and he could have come down off that cross if he wanted to, but he proved to man if I lay my life down for his name sake, and he knew he could be raised up again from that borrowed tomb that they  buried him in, only  to leave man wondering how could he have gotten out of  this?  He yet showed man that he could get back up again  and rise with all power after all he went through.

Yet you may slay me,  but I can take it,  and still I trust Jesus with life even more now than I ever have before.  I can sacrifice and endure this pain I feel that somebody else may see what Jesus can do today in the lives of man, and live  free from guilt, sin and shame.

The difference between Jesus and I, I talked back to God through my pain suffering after this surgery  I had to undergo with no choice, but through all Jesus’s  pain,  he “NEVER” said a mumbling word, because he knew that was not how the story would end, and  in three days he knew he would rise again from that grave  and live again,  that we ALL may live free today. If that’s not real LOVE, I don’t know what is?

Signing off.. Minister Evelyn Diane Thomas .. ” I CAN TAKE IT!!!!”

23rd psalms

Matthew 27:32-56  NIV)
The Crucifixion of Jesus

32 As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross. 33 They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”). 34 There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. 35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots. 36 And sitting down, they kept watch over him there. 37 Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.

38 Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. 39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads 40 and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” 41 In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. 42 “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” 44 In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

The Death of Jesus

45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[a] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[b]

47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. 49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[c] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph,[d] and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

Your pain is worth it if one soul accepts Jesus as their “PERSONAL” Lord and Savior

World In Focus International Ministries LOGO official

Starting from the bottom and going back to the drawing board again is not so bad if the result are your child that had no intentions of accepting Christ for himself as his personal savior, came to me and said on May 10, 2014 08:15 a.m. that he wanted to be saved and he loves our Jesus, because he healed you and made you smile again.  My family know that we have been struggling with him about this invisible Jesus for 11-years. He was diagnosed with Autism at an early age, and he is a visual learner.  He was not buying it.  It just did not seem real to him, and he fought me on every hand when I said it’s time to get dressed for church.  He never wanted to go to church and be apart. We did get him to sing in the choir a few times, and he seemed to enjoy it. I knew he had it in him.

My job was to take him to hear the good news About Jesus.  The word of the Lord says his WORD will never come back void.  It is real, and it felt good in the privacy of our own living room to ask my own son do you accept Jesus Christ as your PERSONAL savior? He said yes, I ask him did he believe that Jesus hung, bled and died for our sins? He said yes!!!  Tears of joy took over and the Holy Spirit entered into the room, and I called a witness so man would not make God out of lie.  A replicable witness that Justin confessed to that he “HE LOVES JESUS~~” Ohhh weee, what mother can ask for better than that?

Of note: Justin Jeremiah Larkins” accepted Christ for himself and is truly now in the body of Christ on this day 5/10/2014.  He now knows the real meaning of what Jesus can and will do.  He was baptized as a little boy on  November 26, 2006 at the AME church.  He did not fully understand the journey at the time.   My son was diagnosed with autism when he was younger, and he is a visual learner, and us personally going through many of issues this past year and this past week, he saw with his own eyes how God works.

Justin accepting Christ  happened after I originally made a portion of this post on Facebook.  I realize now that everything that happened in our lives had to happen,  in order for God to get the glory…  This is what this Christian walk is all about.   If we are able to reach one soul at a time, God is well pleased.   It feels good to be here on earth to witness this beautiful day, and be the one to  officially welcome him in the body of Christ.

God is really pleased because” One”  soul came running this morning  on this day asking about our Jesus,  and asked  to be saved. His exact words: “He said he does not want to go down there with them roaches.”   Wow.. He heard that Pastor preach a sermon last Saturday that I sang at in Compton, CA.   God was already working it all out,  but I just could not see where he was going with all of this because I was blinded by all the trials of life had put on my plate.

My Daddy preached Jesus for almost 50 years, and it was his ultimate desire to his grandson get truly saved and accept Jesus. We had countless conversation about Justin, and Daddy would say, Just keep him before God, and we are going to keep praying.

Look what happens when a mother presses her way through the pain.    Mother’s day is what it should be now, that everyone in my life is accounted for and when I leave this earth, I know that ALL of my Children are saved and know Jesus for themselves.  That is a story worth anybody telling..

It does not matter what man thinks about you, the  only person that matter is my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who died for our  sins. For the most part, (Man)  has done nothing for me but belittle me from time to time on this journey called life,  but my Jesus will has made us perfect, whole and complete in him!!!

Life can hurt sometimes….

World In Focus International Ministries on side of logo

I was reading a piece on yesterday on bitterness from a website called Bible Truth, and he starts out talking about bitterness, and further in the lesson they encloses  the model prayer Jesus prayed in Matthew 6:12 which said:  “we ask for forgiveness as we are forgiving others, “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” The word debt means what is owed to us or in this verse someone who has offended or sinned against us.”

“Jesus in Matthew 6:14-15 shows us the seriousness of the matter: “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

“In Matthew 18:22 Jesus gave us the standard saying that we were to forgive seventy times seventy the person who hurts us.”

A BITTER PERSON IS USUALLY ONE WHO HAVE BEEN HURT.

Usually there are three ways we are hurt.

    1.  By what is DONE to us.
    2.  By what is SAID about us.
    3. By what is TAKEN from us!

golden dividers

Life hurts right about now, but I’ve “NEVER” been a cry baby or one to throw myself a pity party, but some things to me  just don’t make sense,  and it don’t surprise me,  because a lot of things “Jesus” went around doing in the bible days did not make sense either to man; but, there were always logical reason and a purpose why Jesus did things the way he did them; and, he did them “not” like man would because he knew man would do his best to take the credit, and steal all of the glory out of a moment to show the world who he really was and is, and he yet lives on today!

I tell you, I have a testimony now, even greater than I had previously when God gave me back my extremities to walk after encountering a rare muscle disease called Transverse Myelitis, that man yet to this day since 1990  have figured out.  I am a 1 in a million people who survived that disease since 1990,  and I yet live and have  a supernatural ability to yet be able to bear a child. (That’s another whole story)..

Nevertheless, today not only did I raise the two grown children I have successfully as a single mother, God gave me another unusual shot,  at my request to raise a special needs child successfully and yet live to the world what looked like a pretty good life.  What looks like a normal life to the naked eye, but it really is not what is seem.  Normal to me is this life I’ve lived on pain meds, steroids, from time time,  Neurontin consistently which is neurological drug, and so many more that I depend on daily to survive.  Yes, I’ve gotten written off as crazy, psychophrenic, bipolar, and every other cruel mental name people could find to call me.

Nevertheless, I’ve been going to physical of physical therapy twice a week for over 20 years, and this current Physical Therapy Physician in Costa Mesa, by the name of Dr. Lee , at Southland Physical therapy has  worked on me diligently for the past 9-years, give or take.   He encourages me in every way he knows how like I am worth a million bucks to him as a valued patient.  I so appreciate him right about now for believing in me.  I hold on to dear life this morning because of God first, my youngest son Justin,  and then him. Dr. Lee told me a day before my surgery, last week  before he personally realigned my body with me being off of pain medication, which was so painful, but he made sure every bone was where it was supposed to be, and he looked at me before I left the office and said in front of witnesses of men: “I will say a prayer for you at 7:30 a.m.  when I know you will be going under anesthesia for your surgery”.   I want you to know, that If you only have one person to believe in you, that is more enough,  because God all by himself is worth every pain, every hurt I’ve been through this past year.

It’s 2014 now,  and my Daddy who was a Pastor and Gospel Minister for over 40 years passed away on December 22, 2014  from a long bout with bladder cancer, and he is not here to pray for me physically like he always have for the past 38 years since I was a 10-year-old little girl. That’s why I am so confused after God really fixed that situation,  so I could genuinely learn to love my Father after accidentally bumping into him coming out of a cleaners picking up his work clothes from the City of Long Beach, where he worked for over 40 years.  Low and behold, while I sit in my mother’s car, waiting on my mother to come out of the shoe store while she  so diligently were looking for me those Mary Jane shoes that I wanted so bad.  I want you all to know that didn’t get those  “Mary Jane” shoes right then at that particular store because they did not have my size ,  but I got to reunite my Father at 10-years-old, laying my eyes on him for the first time,  knowing that, that was him walking out the cleaners, as my mom walked out of that shoe store. As my mother stood and conversed with this man before she brought him over to the car, I knew in my little heart that he was my Father.  The day unexpectedly had finally come.  I will elaborate on that in my biography “Let my baby live” that I will finish soon.  See, every time I’ve tried to publish this book for the past 20 years, the story just keeps on getting better and better.

I yet struggle daily, me and my child alone, but Only God knows and take real good care of us. I care for my disabled child for 11-years by myself, and he has only laid his eyes on his Dad one week in 2011, of his entire life when his Grandmother that loved us dearly passed away..  You can’t tell me nothing about my God!!!

I know in my heart that only “God” can pull me through the horrible time that me and my 11-year-old disabled son have encountered this past week, let alone to add what transpired at that hospital with my Father in November 2013.   The whole year of caring for him was devastating as a daughter..

If I did not LOVE “JESUS” the way I do, I would be saying right now that there is no God, and there is no “LOVE ” in this world.  I will NEVER ever utter those words from my mouth like I’ve heard so many foolish people do when they think that God has forgotten about them. “NEVER”!!! Just the mere fact that I am a today’s 2014 miracle, and “YES”, I survived through such horrible pain last night, I will NEVER care what MAN thinks about me no matter what his status or statute is. He can be the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama that I respect highly, and I would not be moved the way this invisible “Jesus” have moved my heart, soul and mind since I met him for myself.

Now, I really and truly know why God saw fit to give me one more child, that I named “Justin”..  God knew that he would be the only one in this world that would never want to leave my side, no matter what, and I thank God for him even with his little feeble mind, that God is doing a great work on him, in him  and through him…  Now I know why I had to encounter the things I had to encounter, yet God still get’s gets the glory. It’s pays in the long run to be faithful to God, because there will come a time when he will put you to the the test, and either you will stand if you really know him the pardon of your sins, or you will burn in the fire, fold and give up.  NOT ME!!! #grounded!!!

God I thank you!  Even though life seems so hard… Now, it’s all coming together to me why you would give me two children off the richter scale, and one that I’ve really had to work so hard with, only to be told while I lay flat on my back in pain by one of my other children that I am NOT a good mother, That hurts!!! I want the world to know, like my Pastor says every Sunday.. “If it had not been for the Lord (God) on my side” watching over me and my child every step of the way, where would we both be on this morning at 2:18 a.m, May 8, 2014.. I would not be here today if I had to wait on some the people I’ve given my entire life too. God is getting full credit that I am redeeming this very hour right now! God has all POWER: to do whatever he desires in all of our lives and get the glory… Just one touch, and you can be healed if you have faith the size of a mustard seed as I’ve had these 48 years God has placed me on this earth.

Wow,it’s stuff like I’ve encountered my whole life, I know only my Jesus brought me through it!  That is only half of my testimony…  Can’t tell is all, but I just wanted to share this bit of history of my life with the world.

Psalm 94 (KJV)

WIFI LOGO10golden dividers

O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

3 Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

5 They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.

6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

7 Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;

13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

17 Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

22 But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

Bible Verses about the Birth of Jesus:

Matthew 1:18-25 ESV
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

Isaiah 9:6 ESV
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses. And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.

Psalm 30

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Blessedness of Answered Prayer

A Psalm. A Song at the dedication of the house of David.

3 0  I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, And have not let my foes rejoice over me.

2  O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.

3  O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4  Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name

5  For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

6  Now in my prosperity I said, “I shall never be moved.”

7   Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was troubled.

8  I cried out to You, O Lord; And to the Lord I made supplication:
9  “What profit is there in my blood, When I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise You?  Will it declare Your truth?

10  Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper!”

11  You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
12  To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

What is missing in our lives?

Purpose, meaning, a reason for living—these are all things we desire and search for in life. Despite steps each one of us takes to find purpose and meaning in life, we still feel empty, unfulfilled. That is because there is a spiritual emptiness in each of our lives. We each have a hole in our heart, a spiritual vacuum deep within our soul—a “God shaped blank.” Possessions won’t fill this hole, nor will success. Relationships alone cannot satisfy this emptiness, and morality, in and of itself, falls miserably short of occupying this space. In fact, even religion cannot fill the void in our heart.

There is only one way to effectively fill that void. This way will not only help us to have a life that is full and rich on this earth, but—more important—will give us the absolute hope of spending eternity in the presence of God. Before we can truly appreciate this good news, though, we need to understand the bad news, which is a serious problem we all have.

The problem: s i n The Bible clearly identifies our serious problem as sin. Sin is not just an act but the actual nature of our being. In other words, we are not sinners because we sin. Rather, we sin because we are sinners!  We are born with a nature to do wrong. King David, an Old Testament Israelite ruler, wrote, “For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me” (Psalm 51:5). Because we are born sinners, sinning comes to all of us how you can know GOD naturally. That is why it is futile to think that the answer to all of life’s problems comes from “within.” According to the Bible, the problem is within!

Scripture tells us, “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” (Jeremiah 17:9). We are not basically good—we are basically sinful. This sinfulness spills out into everything we do. Every problem we experience in our society today can be traced back to our refusal to live God’s way. Clear back to the Garden of Eden, Adam made his choice, and he suffered the consequences of it, setting the pattern that all humanity would follow. The Bible explains, “When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. . . . Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone” (Romans 5:12, 18).

“That’s not fair!” you may protest. Why should we suffer because of what someone else has done? Yet, given the opportunity, each one of us would have done the same thing as Adam.   In fact, not a single day passes that we do not face the same test that was set before Adam. God has given us the freedom to choose between two separate paths: the path that leads to life and the path that leads to death. The Bible says, “Today, I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.  Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

w i t h o u t a l e g t o s t a n d o n  Someone may say, “But I live a good life. I try to be kind and considerate to others. I live by the Ten Commandments.”   But the truth of the matter is that the Ten Commandments, or the law, as they are called in the Bible, were not given to make us good but to show us how bad we are. The Bible tells us, “No one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are” (Romans 3:20). The purpose of the law is to make us realize how sinful we are. You might say that God’s law was given to “shut our mouths” and show us that we desperately need his help and forgiveness for our terminal condition as sinners.

Look at the passages below to get a better understanding of the nature and seriousness of sin.

1. We Have All Missed the Mark (see Romans 3:23).

Romans 3:23 says, we have all sinned. For those who would claim to be the sole exception to this eternal truth, verse ten of this chapter plainly says, “No one is righteous—not even one” (Romans 3:10). Another word for righteous is good. The word righteous means, “One who is as he or she ought to be.”

When the Bible says that no one is righteous, or good, it is not so much referring to behavior but to inner character.

What exactly is “God’s glorious standard” that Romans 3:23 says we have failed to meet? God’s “glorious standard” is absolute perfection. Jesus said, “But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48). In other words, anyone who is not as good as God is not acceptable to him.

One definition of sin, derived from the Greek word hamartia, is to “miss the mark.” As far as the mark of perfection goes, we miss it by a mile. Although our sinful nature makes it impossible for us to live up to God’s standard, we cannot blame sin on our nature alone. Sin is also a deliberate act.

2. Sin Is a Deliberate Act (see Ephesians 2:1).  Another word
for sin in Ephesians 2:1 is transgressions or trespasses. This word speaks of a lapse or deviation from truth. In contrast to simply “missing the mark,” this is a deliberate action. Because sin is a deliberate action, we cannot blame our sin on our society or our environment or our mental or physical state.

Everyone has chosen to do what was wrong.  If we protest this point, “we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth” (1 John 1:8).

3. The Ultimate Penalty for Sin Is Death (see Romans 6:23).
According to the Bible, we have offended a Holy God. We have not done this once or twice, but so many times that we are unable to keep count. Romans 6:23 says, “The wages of sin is death. . . .” Wages are something you are paid for work rendered. In other words, you earn your wages. Because we have all repeatedly sinned, we have earned the penalty of death, which is eternal torment and punishment in a place called hell.

Amid all this talk about sin and death, there is some good news. God has given us a way to escape the penalty of our sin. He has made it possible for us to have a relationship with him and enjoy the hope of eternal life without punishment.

The Solution:

JESUS CHRIST!”

God understood our problem and knew that we could do nothing about it.  Because God loves us, he sent his own Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to bridge the chasm of sin that separates us from him.

Romans 6-23 For the wages of sin is death

Father God, you are an awesome God, and your name is greatly to be praised. You gave us life, and all that flourishes around us; you alone created the heavens and the earth, giving us Jesus-the light. Forgive us our ways, Father God, as we lose track of that light, falling into moments of darkness in which we experience loneliness. Without your Son, Our Savior, life is indeed lonely and empty. Often we want to find answers to those things we simply don’t understand; however, many times the things that we don’t understand-we have to believe in faith. Father God and Heavenly Creator, we breathe the air of life; we don’t see it, but we believe. We don’t see the circulating and refreshing wind, but we believe in its existence-and we believe in you-Our Father, Our Creator, Our Life.

Help us, Father, as we turn our life to you, as we leave the darkness behind for the precious and amazing light-to grow in faith, knowing that you are indeed an awesome God. Help us to continuously realize that even when we face moments of trial and temptation, that the light is still there with us; just like a nightly sky, where we don’t physically see the sun, but believe in the light just by looking up at the stars that are illuminated  by the sun. Help us to always look up, to look forward-not backward and to always realize and remember that, Yes, you are and awesome God.

AWESOME GOD!

1 John 2:1-29 (ESV)

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: …

Numbers 23:19 (ESV)

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Isaiah 45:7 (ESV)

I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the Lord, who does all these things.

1 Peter 2:1-25 (ESV)

So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. …

1 John 1:9 (ESV)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 Timothy 2:1-15 (ESV)

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, …

John 14:26 (ESV)

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.”

2 Peter 1:17 (ESV)

For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,”

1 Corinthians 2:1-16 (ESV)

And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. …

Pastor Thomas H. Lambert, Morning Star M.B.C, LB,CA

James 3:1-18 (ESV)

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! …

2 Thessalonians 1:1-12 (ESV)

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring. This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering— …

John 3:1-36 (ESV)

Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. …

Ruth 1:1-22 (ESV)

In the days when the judges ruled there was a famine in the land, and a man of Bethlehem in Judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons. The name of the man was Elimelech and the name of his wife Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in Judah. They went into the country of Moab and remained there. But Elimelech, the husband of Naomi, died, and she was left with her two sons. These took Moabite wives; the name of the one was Orpah and the name of the other Ruth. They lived there about ten years, and both Mahlon and Chilion died, so that the woman was left without her two sons and her husband. …

Luke 12:34-40 (King James Version)

34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Jesus holding a family

Greetings, to all of our Subscribers, Family and Friend’s. We pray all is well in your lives, and we hope this blog  post finds you prospering and in good health is my prayer!

As I awake on this morning, with a vital question on my mind…  Will you be ready?   Will you be ready when Jesus comes?  It’s not a question we often ask ourselves on a daily basis; however, it is a great question that would  lead you to get your house in order mentally and physically.

First step would be knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are saved.  Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?  It’s really simple, and I have enclosed the Romans road that will introduce you to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Responding to the Romans Road

Here’s how to take a personal journey down Romans Road:

  1. Admit you are a sinner.
  2. Understand that as a sinner, you deserve death.
  3. Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from sin and death.
  4. Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Christ.
  5. Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, his free gift of salvation.

Romans Road of Salvation

  1. Everyone needs salvation because we have all sinned.Romans 3:10-12, and 23
As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” … For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (NLT)
  2. The price (or consequence) of sin is death.Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT)
  3. Jesus Christ died for our sins. He paid the price for our death.Romans 5:8
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (NLT)
  4. We receive salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.Romans 10:9-10, and 13
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved … For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (NLT)
  5. Salvation through Jesus Christ brings us into a relationship of peace with God.Romans 5:1
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. (NLT)Romans 8:1
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. (NLT)

    Romans 8:38-39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT)

    A Prayer for Salvation:

Dear Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.

    Amen.

I want a ♥ HEART♥ that FORGIVES.  Lord I wanna let it go, Lord I need to let it go, Lord it’s been holding me back, and I don’t want it.. I don’t want it.. I don’t want it no more…

Lord, I don’t know exactly what to do to get rid of it, but here I am Lord Jesus, here I am oh Lord..
Here I am Lord
Jesus. Ohh, oh I need you.. I need you.. I know this is me that you’re talking to.

The Lord’s Purpose Prevails in this passage of scripture:
Job 1:20-22 (NIV)

“At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” In all this, Job did not sin by charging
God  with wrongdoing.” `
